Local Delivery

Our local deliveries are carried out by a member of WoodFuelBarn’s friendly team in our unique ‘Log Truck’ which can place your firewood in a wide range of positions such as under a garage door or over a garden fence using our versatile log crane.

We will always try, wherever possible to leave your logs exactly where you’d like them, or as near to that as possible.

National Delivery

Our transport partner is able to deliver to most areas of the UK main at a very competitive rate, allowing us to keep your costs down.

Transport costs are calculated specific to your location during the checkout process.

All national deliveries include a ‘packing and packaging’ surcharge of £10 for a single bag pallet and £15 for a double bag pallet.

The standard delivery is based on an ‘economy’ rate and will take 2 or 3 days from despatch.

Orders made before 11am will be despatched the same working day.

Planned AM/PM deliveries, specifically timed deliveries or Saturday deliveries are all available, at extra cost. (Please note that all Saturday deliveries must be ordered by Wednesdays at 1pm.)

Next Day deliveries available at an extra cost of £5.

Deliveries will be made as near to the most convenient place possible within the property where adequate access allows.  The customer’s property must allow for a 7.5 tonne vehicle with minimum 2.8m width clearance, 3.6 m height clearance and 9.4 m length clearance. The access must be free of obstacles and reasonably level.

Deliveries made to properties with gravel courtyards or soft ground may have to be ‘roadside’ only.

Our delivery drivers will try the best they can to get your firewood as close as possible to where you would like it at all times where conditions allow.

All deliveries must be checked on arrival and delivery notes signed unless prior arrangement to leave the firewood at the property has been made, in which case the delivery is left at the property at the customer’s risk.

Any issues with firewood or delivery must be reported immediately to WoodFuelBarn by emailing deliveries@woodfuelbarn.com

In the unlikely event of any dispute resulting in the firewood being returned to WoodFuelBarn, payment will be refunded to the customer less all return delivery charges.
